Wed. 5/2 Spring Concert 7pm in HS Gym
Both concert and symphonic bands will perform. We will combine into one band to honor our senior class. All seniors should email a picture to Mr. B for use in the slide show. Deadline is this WEDNESDAY. If I do not receive your picture, you will not be included in the slide show. Thanks to those who have already submitted their photo.
BANQUET RESERVATIONS ARE ALSO DUE THIS DAY
Fri. 5/4 The radio station Q92 will be broadcasting from LHS from 5:30am-10:00am. The Pep Band will be featured at 8:30am. Tune in to hear the fight songs and a few short interviews with the Q92 morning show hosts.
Sat. 5/5 Mattress Sale 10am-5pm at LES gym.
Mon. 5/7 LHS Band Booster Meeting 7pm in band room
Wed. 5/9 Band Banquet 6:30pm at Skyland Pines (doors open at 6pm)
Thurs. 5/17 Dr. Tim Lautenheiser Leadership Clinic 5-7:30pm at North Canton Hoover (select students only, more details TBA once they become available...cost is $30.00)
Sat. 5/19 Fundraiser pickup between 8-9:45am in the band room
Thurs. 5/24 Graduation 7pm at Canton Civic Center . See link below for itinerary.
FUNDRAISER MONEY IS ALSO DUE THIS DAY
Mon. 5/28 Memorial Day Service 10am near the fire department downtown (select students only)
Thurs. 5/31 Drum Major Tryouts 1:00pm in band room THIS DATE IS TENTATIVE
As you can see, May is a busy month but full of fun stuff. Please continue your support of our band students through the end of the school year by attending and volunteering at our events!
