Picture day is tomorrow. Students will practice from 8-12 and then report back to the band room at 1:30 dressed in their uniforms. Each student will be photographed as an individual, in their section, and in the full band picture. Once your student has been photographed, they are dismissed for the day. Purchasing of photos is optional. Please use the link below if you choose to make a purchase. Seniors who would like to purchase a stadium or downtown banner should turn in their payments in the envelopes that have been available in the band room.

There is no practice this Friday 7/25.
Students should purchase their blue shorts prior to departing for camp. These are available in town at Beatty's (or anywhere you choose). Students should pack these shorts for camp as we will be wearing our summer uniform on the last day of camp. The blue shorts and this year's band t-shirt (distributed to the students at camp) will be our summer uniform.
I have discussed band camp expectations everyday at the end of practice. Students should know what and how to pack and what is expected while at camp. Report time on Sunday 7/27 is 10:45am. We will return on 8/1 at approximately 5:00pm.
Make sure that you are signed up for my REMIND. Instructions are below. This is how I will be communicating updates throughout the season.
The Hall of Fame Parade is the morning of 8/2. I will update you on the itinerary once I receive information from parade officials. Plan on an early report time to the band room.
8/7 is our tailgate and band preview. Details are below.
I have one addition to the calendar. We have been invited to perform at the football team's Ring of Honor Ceremony. This will be the evening of 8/11 at the stadium. Each year a former member of the team is inducted into the Ring of Honor. More details TBA, but please put this evening on the calendar. I'm expecting a 5:30pm report time and we'll be wearing our summer uniforms. Event should end around 7:15pm.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
Lastly, consider becoming actively involved with the Band Boosters. Running a band of our size that does all of the things we do takes a ton of work and extra parent help. It's fun and your kids are here anyways! Reach out to me or Band Booster President Natalie Thornberry with any questions. We need your involvement and support outside of attending events! Natalie's email is below.

Have a great kid-free week next week while we enjoy our time at BGSU preparing for an amazing competition season!
