Reminders for the upcoming week:

Practices are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from mod 8-5pm. There is no after school rehearsal on Tuesday. Friday is another home football game vs. Ursuline. The itinerary is below.

There are a number of students who have not signed up for my Parent Square reminders. This is mandatory and takes the place of the Band Remind that we have used for years until recently. For any student who has not signed up, they must do so using the link below. (Parents should also sign up to receive reminders on arrival times / possible delays etc.)

There are a dozen or so students who have not returned the form about the possibility of the October 17th competition at Copley. This was due on Friday. If you have not signed the form, please complete and return to the band office. The form is also below for anyone who needs it.

New Phila Game Itinerary

I wanted to remind everyone that our practice schedule is a little different next week due to the start of school and teacher inservices.

Mon. 8/17 practice 3-5pm
Tues. 8/18 practice 3-5 pm
Weds. 8/19 practice 8th mod (1:30pm)-5pm
Thurs. 8/20 practice 8th mod (1:30pm)-5pm

Students should bring practice clothes to school with them on school days moving forward until the end of the season. They will be given time during our 8th mod class to change in the locker rooms. Please continue to bring water for practice and a snack if desired.

Below is the itinerary for our first football game vs. New Phila on Friday 8/21. There is no practice after school and students will be dismissed at the end of the school day to return at 5:30pm.

Week of 8/3/26 updates and reminders

Thank you for trusting us with your kids last week at camp. It was a huge success and we have built a solid foundation for an amazing season. As I am sure you have heard by now, band camp can be long, hot, and tiring. It is also filled with memories and new friendships. Camp teaches leadership, determination, confidence, and grit. I hope you will find this to be true.

This week's rehearsals are Mon-Thurs. from 8am-12pm. I cannot stress how important attendance is. As of Monday, we have only 12 more practices before the first football game and only 4 until our band tailgate and preview on Thursday evening.

Below you will find information about our performance on Thursday evening. Please read the letter carefully so that you know what to expect for our meal together and our first public performance of the year. Please direct questions to my email at [email protected]

I will be monitoring the weather for Thursday evening. Should a cancellation be necessary, I will inform everyone via Remind. There will not be a make-up date.
